Constructed from carbon fiber, it offers the stiffness needed during quick sprints, out-of-the-saddle climbing, and steep sinuous descents. While that stiffness is appreciated during hard efforts, the bar still has the ability to quell road noise keeping you feeling fresher for longer. The housing then passes through a notch in the headset bearing and into the frame. For an electronic set-up, all the wires and brake housing can run internally but with a mechanical groupset, there’s not quite enough room for all the housing so you'll have to run a piece externally.
