Velo Star

Our History

Velo Star is a wholesale and retail bicycle business based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, specializing in bicycles, parts, accessories, and cycling products.

Our story began in Portland, Oregon, in 2003, when we founded the company as Cyclone Bicycle Supply. For many years, we operated exclusively as a wholesale distributor, supplying independent bicycle shops throughout North America.

In 2017, we relocated to the New York City area, where we became deeply involved in the local cycling community. We are proud to have served as the official U.S. distributor for renowned cycling brands including Cinelli, Bombtrack, and Wilier Triestina. Our years in the wholesale business, combined with our experience working closely with cyclists, bicycle shops, and leading brands, gave us a unique perspective on the products and service that matter most to riders.

In 2025, we brought the business to Oklahoma City and opened our first retail location. Today, Velo Star combines more than two decades of experience in the bicycle industry with a renewed focus on serving individual cyclists directly.

We offer bicycles, parts, accessories, and professional bicycle repair services, giving riders a place to find the products they need and keep their bikes running at their best. Whether you need routine maintenance, a repair, help selecting the right component, or a new bicycle for your next adventure, our goal is to provide knowledgeable, friendly service from people who understand cycling.

We're committed to providing excellent customer service and a vast selection of cycling products, both online and at our Oklahoma City store. We're proud to serve the Oklahoma City cycling community and look forward to helping you get the most out of every ride.
