Its file-tread center rolls fast on straights, and aggressive side knobs keep you secure in corners. It's at home on dry, hard-packed, sandy courses as well as frozen or snowy ground. Whether you're racing a dusty September course or a frozen January one, it's built for speed. Tubulars are sewn-up tires that glue or tape onto a dedicated tubular rim, so check your wheels before you buy.

TUFO was founded in the Czech Republic in 1991 by former racer Miloslav Klabal, who built his first tubular in a garden shed. In 1993 TUFO patented the tubular clincher, and today it still makes its tires in its own factories in Otrokovice and Zlín.
