The Mitas 27.5" (18-584) PVC Rim Strip (also branded or known historically as Rubena) is a continuous plastic protective band designed for standard mountain and hybrid bike wheels. It snaps over the internal wheel bed to act as a smooth shield, preventing sharp spoke nipples, spoke holes, or metal burrs from puncturing the inner tube.
