Selle San Marco Smart Ass Saver Saddle Fender - Black
SKU: SA5995
The pocket fender that saves your shorts. The Smart Ass Saver is a thin, flexible plastic blade that slots into your saddle rails in seconds. It's just enough fender to stop the wet-road stripe up your back. When you don't need it, it's small enough to stash in a jersey pocket or bag, making it the perfect hedge on days when the forecast can't make up its mind.
It doesn't need eyelets, clamps or tools, so it works on race bikes, gravel bikes, commuters and mountain bikes alike. On a damp group ride it's an easy courtesy: you stay drier, and the rider behind you doesn't get a faceful of grit. This version wears co-branded Selle San Marco and Ass Savers graphics in black.
Whether you're commuting after an overnight rain or heading out for a winter road ride, the Smart Ass Saver earns its spot in your pocket.
About Selle San Marco and Ass Savers. Selle San Marco is an Italian saddle maker founded in 1935 in Rossano Veneto. Ass Savers began in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2011, when designer Staffan Widell taped a piece of cardboard under his saddle to get home dry. It went on to become the first mudguard used by pros in the UCI WorldTour. The Smart Ass Saver is the two brands' co-branded take on that idea.
