The Elite Hi-Composite Carbon 28 brings back TUFO's iconic Hi-Composite tread with a better compound and refined construction. A supple 210/375 TPI casing balances low rolling resistance, grip and durability.

A Low Modulus compound adds comfort and stability, and the Grip Silica tread grips well in wet and dry conditions. Whether you're racing or riding long, fast miles, it's a modern update of a TUFO favorite. Available in black or tan sidewalls. Tubulars are sewn-up tires that glue or tape onto a dedicated tubular rim, so check your wheels before you buy.

TUFO was founded in the Czech Republic in 1991 by former racer Miloslav Klabal, who built his first tubular in a garden shed. In 1993 TUFO patented the tubular clincher, and today it still makes its tires in its own factories in Otrokovice and Zlín.
