The TUFO 28 mm valve extender is an aluminum alloy extension for high-profile rims. Unlike extenders that screw over a closed valve, TUFO extenders fit between the valve body and the valve core, so the working valve sits at the tip, above the rim. That makes inflating, adjusting pressure and deflating easy, and an o-ring seal stops slow leaks.

TUFO was founded in the Czech Republic in 1991 by former racer Miloslav Klabal, who built his first tubular in a garden shed. In 1993 TUFO patented the tubular clincher, and today it still makes its tires in its own factories in Otrokovice and Zlín.
