About Velox. Velox is a French cycling brand founded in 1903, the same year as the first Tour de France. It made its name in rim tapes, puncture repair and maintenance: it registered a bicycle repair kit in Paris in 1913 and trademarked the word "Guidoline" for handlebar tape in 1950. More than a century later, riders still trust Velox rim tape to protect their tubes.
